| Tiivistelmä: | Opportunities to and constraints on innovation are examined. A new model of innovation is developed. The characteristics of an innovative firm are summarized. The analysis of the innovative processes, defined as processes of creation of technology and characterized by the existence of separable production processes vertically integrated, allow to reconsider technological strategy of the firms and the articulation between the public research and technological oriented industrial activity. Some new objectives for technological policies are suggested. |
