The introduction of new technology and the restructuring of organizational processes and functions means that personnel management must constantly redefine its functions. It must be creative and forward-looking, responding to and helping to shape developments. The author examines these issues from his standpoint as personnel director of a large trading enterprise, for many years also responsible for organization, logistics and data processing. |
