| Tiivistelmä: | The decline of the West German export is not over yet. The boom of the summer of 1991 was not a persistent trend. A decisive factor for this is the lack of boom in the large industrial countries. Impulses came only from some developing countries, first of all from OPEC countries. The import of West Germany decreased too. The main reason for this was the economic downturn in the country and the lack of impulses from the Eastern laender. The decline of the foreign trade of East Germany seems to be over. The prospects for the German foreign trade in 1992 are a little bit better. |
