| Tiivistelmä: | The difficult point in solving the problem of regional disparities in China lie in the fact that the settlement of the problem of domestic regional disparities is subjected to the overall objective of narrowing the gap between China's and the world's development level. The state's resources which can be allocated to support the underdeveloped areas have been increasingly in straitened circumstances. Moreover, it is impossible that the international capital will be invested in the western areas by a large scale. So the realistic choice is that the under developed areas should make great efforts to develop their economy by themselves and at the same time get the support of resources by policy, that is, more power should be delegated to the backward areas. |
