| Tiivistelmä: | Since 1986 The Economist annually computes exchange rate over- or undervaluation using the prices of McDonald's Big Mac hamburger in different currencies. In this article the authors test whether currency portfolios base on these so-called misalignments earned the German, the Japanese or the U.S. investor an excess return. The focus is deliberately on currency (or "cash") portfolios. |
