| Tiivistelmä: | Employee pilfering is an equal opportunity curse, affecting virtually all businesses. Employee theft is too large a problem for any company to ignore, regardless of its size. The current approaches to employee theft are reviewed, various reasons why employees may steal are considered. It is also demonstrated how a positive, pro-active approach can significantly reduce the situations allowing for theft. |
