| Tiivistelmä: | The process of the use of price alternative channels of distribution outside the control of the manufacturers is examined. The technology which makes market information available to potential buyers is the same one which allows the easy processing of orders and payments,and provides convenience and efficient shipping. The gray market runs on a combination of the new information technology and antiquated or misguided pricing practice. Some of the tactics commonly used to combat gray markets are discussed. |
