| Tiivistelmä: | In this study the authors focus on a case company; a UK based privatised utility company which separated number of functions into a separate commercial business. The new separate company provided services to the utility company, but also had its own new client base. Still the new spin-off solution faced numerous difficulties. The authors offer various significant lessons for organizations pursuing a same kind of outsourcing solution as the studied case company has done. |
