| Tiivistelmä: | The author has attempted to estimate the impact of several key factors underlying the fast growth of Korea in recent years in the light of new growth theory. Three major tenets of this theory are empirically tested againts the Korean experience: (i) externality effects of openness on growth, (ii) significant increasing returns to scale and (iii) the spillover effects of human capital on intersectoral productivity. |
