| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper the author examines the ´free standing` wave of promotions during the late nineteenth century where American companies were promoted on the London Stock Exchange. The article suggests that H.Osborne O´Hagan were not the first actors in the promotions. The author further suggests that Samuel and Isaac Untermyer were infact the first movers in the company promotions. |
