| Tiivistelmä: | In western Germany economic activity has been directed slightly upwards since spring last year. However, the recovery is still unsteady. Adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects real GDP increased in the second and the third quarter of 1993, whereas in the last quarter overall production decreased. In November and December especially construction activities were impared by unfavourable weather conditions. The situation on the labour market continued to worsen. |
