| Tiivistelmä: | During the Eighth Five-Year Plan, China's import achieved a new leap forward, which expressed in: (1) the overall trend of high-speed growth of import, with an annual growth rate of 20.4%, (2) the structure of import further optimized, and the increasing proportion of import of means of production and mechanical products, (3) the new characteristics appearing in the mode of import trade, the import proportion, increasing by a large margin in processing trade and the foreign-funded enterprises' becoming the main driving-force in pushing import ahead, (4) the import surpassed by export, with sustained surplus in foreign trade, (5) stable development of diversification of import markets, (6) the rising of import price index amid stability. |
