| Tiivistelmä: | In 1986 appeared in this journal an article by the authors with the title 'The dominant logic: a new linkage between diversity and performance'. This article was chosen to receive the Strategic Management Journal Best Paper Price. Between its appearance in 1986 and today, the concept of a 'dominant logic' and the related concepts of strategic variety, cognitive variety, response speed, learning, and unlearning have continued to evolve and develop. This paper briefly reviews the concept of dominant logic, and then elaborates some of the ways in which the authors have further developed this concept in recent years. |
