| Tiivistelmä: | This study deals with the previously widely neglected subject of the influence of the movie's national origin to the moviegoers' appreciation of an upcoming movie. The findings of this research show that moviegoers have formed specific expectations with respect to certain countries and particular movie genres. Non-confirmation of these expectations is revealed to impact movie appreciation when moviegoers' do not have much of knowledge about cinema and when movie reviews are positive. |
