| Tiivistelmä: | A decision maker has a set of possible decision alternatives from which one is to be chosen. However, all decision alternatives are not at the decision maker's disposal initially, nor is full knowledge of his utility/value function. Therefore, the decision maker evaluates only the available subset of all decision alternatives, from which he chooses the most preferred one. But there is two questions: (1) how good is the most preferred solution, (2) what are the chances of finding better solutions by considering additional alternatives. An algorithm is described to solve these problems. |
