| Tiivistelmä: | On 10 June 1987 a Green Paper, entitled Towards a Dynamic European Economy was released. The aims of the new legislation are to prepare for and rationalising the European market, and to play a more important role in the world telecoms equipment and services market. Opening up the market of EEC members to international competition needs a complete system of international standardization. The foundation of a European Telecommunications Standards Institute is also suggested. |
