| Tiivistelmä: | The major objective of the research described was to explore an expanded model of strategic change considering not only the effect of chief executive officer /CEO/ succession, but also the effects of changes in ownership and boards of directors. There was a prediction that changes in ownership and board independently affect the process on strategic change and create a context that moderates the effects of CEO succession. The results supported this view and indicated that the interaction of changes in ownership and management have an important effect on strategic change. |
