Tiivistelmä:Multinational firms have several advantages in comparison to companies whose activity is confined to a country or a region. However, even economically sound firms fail very often to globalize their business, because they underestimate the cultural characteristics of countries. For example, the life cycle of a product can be extended through developing international markets. The management, organizational culture and the structure of the organization should be adapted to the specialities of a new markets taking into consideration the cultural features , values, standards and beliefs of other countries.
