| Tiivistelmä: | Although widely studied in other areas of business, competitiveness lacks discussion in the field of tourism and hospitality. However, recently some researchers have began to study competitiveness with a focus on tourism destinations and hotel industry. This paper aims to conduct a critical literature review of these previous studies about competitiveness in tourism business and provide a better understanding of what is the current situation and how could the existing knowledge be advanced. The authors give suggestions for future research. |
