| Tiivistelmä: | As in the United States and in Great Britain the management of listed corporations in Germany has also come under high pressure by institutional investors and financial analysts during the ongoing globalization of financial markets. They insist on competitive returns of the money invested and strategies to increase shareholders'wealth by value based management. First the working group discusses different methods to determine the risk oriented cost of equity and debt for the corporation and its divisions taking into account also scenarios with taxes and exchange rates. Then the range of applications for a value based management is presented. |
