Tiivistelmä:In this article the author identifies what it takes to be a successful exporter of industrially manufactured goods to U.S. markets. The companies in this study are small/medium size Canadian manufacturers. This size-group was selected, because it would appear that in there lies potential to be achieved. What the author wants to underline is increasing exporters' share of U.S. markets and to encourage more Canadian manufacturers to internationalize by the shortest route, ie begin successful export operations into the United States.
