| Tiivistelmä: | The general two day manager courses are booming in Germany. These courses are very good business for the organizers, however, participants do not always get what was promised. Indicative of the profitability of this management course business is that the market leader, the Institute for International Research /IIR/ had a turnaround of 25 M DEM with its 200 meetings in 1991. It is found that these courses are successful in those cases, in which participants can get to know megatrends. Why formerly Total-Quality-Management and Chaos-Management were the most popular subject-matters, recently managers are interested first of all in Lean Production. |
