| Tiivistelmä: | The measures to protect the environment have considerable impacts on every branch of the economy. Conditions of the success and expansion of eco-management are environment oriented managers and training. Notions and ideas of the representatives of the new mentality in Germany and Switzerland are presented in the article. They unanimously call for a change of paradigm, that is, the traditional way of production, which does not take into consideration the environmental impacts of production, must be replaced by a new, environment oriented way of production. Eco managers will play a crucial role in this process. |
