| Tiivistelmä: | The development level of China's insurance is still quite low in the world. Insurance institutions are small in both number and scale. The structure of insurance market is unbalanced. The related laws and regulations and supervision and management need to be improved too. The function of insurance hasn't been brought into full play. In view of the above, the following measures should be taken in reform of insurance: fostering the concept of insurance; expanding opening to the outside world in a bid to enhance market competition; reforming insurance system and insurance enterprises; blazing new trails in insurance; perfecting laws and regulations on insurance and strengthening industrial supervision and management. |
