Tiivistelmä:China's textile export trade is in a difficult position. The factors influencing China's competitiveness in this line are the rising prices of cotton and finished products, shrinking market as a result of vicious competition, less varieties, low quality and low grade to be raised difficultly. The measures to be taken are as follows: implementing the policy of subsidizing and rewarding cotton- producers; stressing the optimizing of structure, improving of quality and increasing of economic returns which is incorporated in production policy; striving to participate in the setting of international market prices and adjusting in time, purchasing prices in foreign trade and making unified coordination of the export quantum of various factories; making gradual transition to the agent system of foreign trade; establishing multinational trade companies.
