| Tiivistelmä: | The challenge facing State-owned foreign trade enterprises are: Protective policies are being gradually cancelled; all-round market competition has started; since China hasn't joined the World Trade Organization(WTO), enterprises cannot enjoy the multilateral agreement right of WTO, which is not advantageous to competition. Asian financial crisis makes China encounter more severe international situation. Reform Orientation: 1. We should deepen the reform of property right system and try to solve the problems in the deeper levels. 2. The management pattern must be converted and upgraded and the enterprise core competitiveness strengthened; on the basis of commodity marketing we can carry out capital operation; we must accelerate the process of industrialization and reorganize export model; and so on. |
