| Tiivistelmä: | Viewing from the angle of structure, we would find that the tariff level of China's manufacturing industry is much higher than those of agriculture and excavation industry. The average weighted tariff rates of agriculture and excavation industry are 8% and 3.5% respectively while that of manufacturing industry is 35.1%. Within the manufacturing industry, the average tariff level of consumer goods is 64.6%, the highest, followed by capital goods, 35.3% and intermediate goods, 21.9%. The tariff structure presents a gradient structure with higher tariff rate for the up stream products and lower tariff rate for the down stream products. |
