| Tiivistelmä: | In organizations managers are confronted by a set of interacting problems associated with the processes for which they have responsibility. Constructing strategic plans and initiating projects are main problems. Modelling is used to structure these problems and to derive suggestions for action. Validation in the methodology of model building is an important part of the process. The amount and type of validation carried out in a series of projects is considered. Contrasts between the expected and observed modes of validation are also established. |
