| Tiivistelmä: | It is known that education and occupational status have significant effects on attitudes. This paper examines the stratification effects on attitudes accross a large number of countries. The data set consists of the European values study conducted in 22 European countries in the year 1999. The results show no evidence that the effect of class on attitudes depends on the development stage of the society. |
