| Tiivistelmä: | In this contribution the organizational and motivational prerequisites of database are analysed. Most organizations make only intranets and database available, without thinking about the personal prerequisite of using such systems. First of all, the term of knowledge is critically analysed, because such systems are used for knowledge management. The main question is whether the development and storage of knowledge could be supported by database. Thus problems of datainput and solutions are discussed. The theoretical reflections are illustrated by three case studies. The paper provides a substantial list of references on this subject. |
