Tiivistelmä:The paper investigates how revenue per available seat-hour(RevPASH), a commonly used metric of revenue performance, is calculated. A simulation study of a real restaurant is conducted to determine the extent of possible inaccuracies in the existing approaches to calculating RevPASH. The findings indicate that the extent of inaccuracies is greater when RevPASH is calculated using check-open times than when using time interval from check open to check close.
