Tiivistelmä:The development of an environmental program is necessary to stay in business under the new German environmental legislation. Restaurant business has the least complicated content of its waste stream, therefore has the possibility to play a leading role in establishing environment friendly corporate policies. The material recovery program that is to be realized in 5 steps leads to an almost no-waste solution and does not only benefit the image of the company, but also helps to control future costs of waste disposal. The respect for the rights of future generations requires development. Quality based management and marketing is not possible without integrating the ecological factor into corporate policies.
