| Tiivistelmä: | In the ongoing discussion about "Entrepreneurship" we may distinguish btw. two paradigmata: the "positive theory of the entrepreneur" and the "functional theory of the entrepreneur". A typolocy of the entrepreneur forms the core of the positive theory, with the "opportunistic entrepreneur", the "safety-oriented entrepreneur", the "promotor", the "classical entrepreneur", the "pioneer", the "laggard", the "imitator" or "late follower". None of these types contribute to the theory of the firm anything but confusion. The positive theory of the entrepreneur will, therefore, have no future (original in German). |
