| Tiivistelmä: | Digital audio broadcasting system can provide a high-quality stereophonic service to mobile, portable and fixed receivers in any environment. Several countries wish to start DAB services as soon as l995. Minimum field-strengths have been established to enable preliminary coverage planning exercises to be undertaken and examples of planning exercises, using the terrestrial single frequency network concept , by the BBC and Bayerische Rundfunk are presented. |
