Of the three ISPs that were named defendants in the SPA's October 1996 lawsuits, two have announced "settlements" with the organization; but a close look at the settlements suggests that the SPA backed down from its original aggressive approach to salvage some good publicity from what was turning into a public-relations disaster. |
