| Tiivistelmä: | There have been a number of recent developments in EC anti-dumping law and practice which merit closer examination. First, in December 1996, the European Commission amended its anti-dumping legislation to partially incorporate the recommendations of the GATT Panel in Audio tapes in cassettes by adding a paragraph to Article 2(10)(k) to Regulation 384/96. Second, in January 1997, the Commission published its first affirmative findings of circumvention in the Chinese bycilces case and established a system for applying anti-circumvention duties. These developments and their practical value are analysed in this paper. |
