Tiivistelmä:This paper focuses on the role of ethics in everyday life. The work of Levinas and Derrida is reviewed. Using the theory of Levinas, the paper argues that ethics happens in the singularity of the face of the Other before her "here and now". The concept of the Other is reviewed in the context of everyday life. Using the concepts Levinas and Derrida, this paper attempts to articulate the notion of singular justice as the simultaneous demand of all others requiring my response. In addition, the paper argues that singular justice is the my calling to do the right thing immediately. The paper discusses software piracy in the light of singular justice concept.
