| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines the extent to which organizational management affects the work of the ethics officer (hereafter as: EO). Especially, situations with conflict of interests are investigated. Based on 10 detailed phone interviews, it is found that reporting to management affects the performance of EO's work. Thus, the study suggests that EOs should be managed directly by corporate board of directors. |
