| Tiivistelmä: | This article provides greater understanding about the awareness of corporate social responsibility in transition economies. The article provides empirical evidence using Estonia, which economy has developed fast during the last few years, as a case example. The views of 26 owners and managers of Estonian companies on the social responsibility were collected with in-depth interviews. The findings revealed some individual activity in spite of the fact that the social and environment related issues have received less attention in the economic development. |
