| Tiivistelmä: | The quality of Integrative Social Contracts Theory (ISCT) is assessed as a social contract (here as: s-c.) argument. Performed is a comparative analysis of the use of the s-c. model as a theory of political authority and as a theory of social justice. Building on this comparison, four criteria for any future contractarian theory of business ethics (CBE) are developed. To apply the s-c. model properly to business ethics, it should be: 1. self-disciplined, 2. argumentative, 3. task-directed, and 4. domain-specific. |
