| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper, presented are the results of an empirical study investigating user involvement (hereafter as: u-inv.) and user satisfaction (here as: u-sat.) in the context of information-seeking activity. All proposed five hypotheses were supported by the data from a laboratory experiment. In addition, reported are also two other interesting findings: 1. Intrinsic motivators (here as: i-mots.) have a stronger positive effect on u-inv. than situational motivators (as: s-mots.) have, and 2. s-mots. have a stronger positive effect on u-sat. than the i-mots. |
