| Tiivistelmä: | In Japan the retarding effects of the restructuring processes in the financial and property sphere are even more evident than in the USA. The monetary easing, which up to now had only punctual effect on demand, is being replaced now by a massive fiscal stimulus. Therefore, it has become more likely that expansionary impulses will gain over retarding influences next year and that domestic demand will rise again. This holds especially for residential construction and for public investment. Business investment and private consumption should be stimulated only after a time-lag. |
