| Tiivistelmä: | Numerous stock exchanges world wide are listing German stocks. These listings are part of the exchanges' attempt to obtain a market share in the international stock trade. Most of these efforts are directed towards better meeting the changing needs of investors through a restructering of trading organization. In this regard there has evidently been a conspicous lack of quantitive determination of the desires of investors. This is the motivation for our analysis. After developing a multicriteria decision structure to describe the items that may influence the selection of an exchange we are gathering direct insight from a representative sample of institutional investors. Therefore, questionnaires were sent to 250 banks in Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland. |
