Tiivistelmä: | The author analyses the question - if Henry Ford could examine the Ford Motor Company as it exists today, what issues would interest him and how the company would measure up in his estimation. One of Ford's first questions would be, how the business is doing. Next, the author states that Ford might inquire about of the status of production. It might shock him to learn that the Ford Motor Company is no longer manufacturing car parts. Also he would want to know how profitable the business remains for the family. Ford might have trouble understanding why the financial accountants have de-emphasized the strict budget and spending controls on managers. Ford would likely wonder how employees are faring. Unfortunately, not much has changed since Ford's days of conflict with the worker labor unions. |
