| Tiivistelmä: | Although evidence of gradual emergence from recession has been apparent in some areas of the economy since 1992, even the strongest of the multiples operating in the food retailing sector have continued to warn of the fragile nature of the recovery. In the food sector, although alterations in lifestyle have continued to cause changes, there has been some real growth in total spending. The drink and tobacco sectors have not fared so well, however, and the main reasons have chiefly been the result of factors external to the markets themselves. |
