| Tiivistelmä: | The entire automation of manufacturing enterprises is needed to achieve the objectives such as fast response to market demands, better product quality, reduced cost etc., which are relevant for competitive selling of the products on the pretentious makkets.This implies the methodology of the computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) which seeks to integrate computerised manufacturing and management information systems.The paper deals with the hierarchical control model for automated manufacturing systems and respective issues that are essential for implementing CIM.Basic features with respect to information technology and existing standardised equipment's, systems and engineering, supported by company SIEMENS, which is one of the leading company on the field of the industrial automation are described.A short overview and possibilities of solving control problems on different levels of the automatisation and an example of the PLC controller application in a production department is given.The perspective and problematic regarding successful implementation of the computer aided production is also exposed. |
