| Tiivistelmä: | A statewide inquiry into the economic impact of arts organizations and audiences was undertaken in Idaho, a primarily rural economy with a dependence on natural resource-based industries. Survey data on arts organizations income and expenditures was obtained and two sets of output, earnings and employment impacts were estimated using the Regional Input-output Modeling System. For one set of estimates income data was used as a measure of the final demand for arts activities. The comparison output, earnings and employment estimates employed the actual expenditure data of the arts organizations. |
