| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the economic impact of professional summer theatre companies in small towns of southern Ontario by describing and explaining variations in expenditure patterns of visitors. Survey data reveal that on the average visitors spend more than 675,000 dollars annually at each side. Variations, among other things, are caused by the kind of community and the theatre offered. Finally, conclusions are drawn and directions for future research identified. |
