| Tiivistelmä: | Socialist market economy is essentially an "exchange economy". It is a kind of economy which makes use of currency and the low of value. It is based on a kind of ownership which public ownership of the means of production plays the dominant role. It also plays a dominant role in the development and coordination of the whole national economy. In socialist market economy, the guiding and coordinating functions of the state plan becomes more outstanding. The operation of socialist market economy is to realize the effective coordination of economy and the optimal distribution of resources through market mechanism. |
