Tiivistelmä:There is ample evidence that corporate money influences the content of museums' exhibits. A decade ago, a Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) researcher visited a dozen science-technology museums from Boston to Los Angeles. He discovered that not only were many exhibits at major museums sponsored by industries that have a financial interest in the subject of the exhibit, but also that the exhibits were one-sided. At the California Museum of Science and Industry, for example, General Motors sponsored an exhibit that described everything the automaker had done to help clean up Los Angeles air!
